JADDE was proud to sponsor the 2024 Flood Resilience Hackathon, held at Sapir College in the heart of Israel’s South. Amid a year marked by record-breaking natural disasters, the event brought together local students and youth to tackle the urgent challenge of flood response through innovation and community empowerment.
Led by Tech7 and supported by JADDE and the government of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), the hackathon encouraged participants to develop practical, scalable solutions for communities facing climate-driven disasters. The winning team, CRISILITY, proposed a community-organized rapid response model to support official rescue efforts during the critical first hours following a flood.
This event reflects JADDE’s mission to accelerate real-world DisasterTech solutions and support local resilience—especially in regions directly impacted by crisis.
